Artist's Bio
Born in El Paso, Texas, my life long passion for creating art began at about the age of two when I found the white walls of my childhood home an irresistible surface for coloring. Standing on a chair to reach more of my "canvas," I was utterly obsessed by the need to create color. Big color!

The biggest I could get away with.

My parent's were so impressed by my work that they provided me with an unlimited supply of large paper, paints, markers and pencils, and eventually art lessons with the wonderful El Paso artist, Win Korf.

After many years working in archaeology and then corporate business, I am finally returning to my childhood obsession and have dedicated myself to art as a full-time occupation.

Now, I spend my days painting and drawing among the warm memories of my mother's passion for art, the calmness of classical music, and the labyrinths of color that embody my soul.

I am inspired and humbled by the works of Picasso, Braque, Miro', and Klee, among many.
